Christopher Slatoff is a sculptor renowned for his monumental works throughout Southern California and beyond. Inspired by his father, artist and professor Howard Slatoff, and early exposure to the art world through the older Slatoff’s PBS series Eye of the Artist, he has sculpted since childhood.
Trained in France and at California State University, Long Beach, Slatoff combines classical figurative techniques with innovative materials. His public commissions include works installed at the University of Southern California, the City of Pasadena, the City of Coronado, and the California State Capitol, as well as an eight-foot bronze created in collaboration with author Ray Bradbury.
He teaches at ArtCenter College of Design, serves as Sculpture Chairman of the California Art Club, and is Artist in Residence at Fuller Theological Seminary. A passionate advocate for arts education, Slatoff has developed programs for underserved communities and special needs students, fostering the next generation of artists.

Elisabeth Frederickson is a sculptor whose work bridges two- and three-dimensional forms, shaped by her early life in the remote landscapes of North Dakota and Alaska. She has more than a decade of experience creating large-scale public art in collaboration with acclaimed sculptor Christopher Slatoff, producing monuments for civic, religious, and cultural institutions.
Her sculptures have been exhibited throughout California and recognized with awards from the California Art Club and the SLOPOKE Western Art Show. Working primarily in clay—often cast in bronze or resin—Frederickson’s practice emphasizes craftsmanship, collaboration, and community relevance.

John Sumner is a sculptor whose work emerges from a lifelong pursuit of form, story, and craft. A graduate of ArtCenter College of Design, he spent more than 15 years as an art director and production designer in stop-motion animation before returning to sculpture during the pandemic.
Since then, he has developed his own body of work while collaborating with sculptor Christopher Slatoff on projects including League of Wives, Tree of Life, and the Filipino Shrine at St. Columban Catholic Church. Guided by a “punk rock” creative philosophy of constant growth and questioning, Sumner approaches sculpture as an intuitive exploration of shape, emotion, and meaning in clay.
